FORMER England and Coventry full-back Peter Rossborough has outlined the club's financial plight to the region's business community. Rossborough, president of the Butts Park Arena club and a trustee of the fund formed to raise a £100,000 bond required by the RFU to allow the club to continue playing in National Division One, spoke at Coventry and Warwickshire First.
The professional services group met at the offices of leading lawyers Wright Hassall, where lifelong supporter John Rouse is a partner.

Rouse said: "There has been a great deal in the papers about the plight of the rugby club and it was good to hear from Peter - someone who has been associated with the club for most of his life - that efforts are being made to keep the club at its present level. Coventry and Warwickshire has a very proud tradition of top rugby and the club generates a great deal of good feeling both locally and nationally."
