All aboard the ICRSC bus to Ravenhill.
By lgwt@castlebar February 13 2008
Back to matters Magner League and with the season heading into the business end, the ICRSC are getting their best marching wellies on and hitting the road in support of their beloved rugby team. Belfast beckons for what could be our defining game in season 2007-2008.

The trip is on for this important clash.

I've booked a luxury (i.e. it has a loo and drinks coolers) 59-seater coach to leave O'Connell's on Eyre Square at 10.30 on Friday the 11th April to take us to Ravenhill.

Some posters will already be aware of that we were making shapes to organise this but it's only now that the plan is - in the words of Colonel Hannibal Smith of the A-Team - coming together.

Fiona at the Connacht Branch has booked match tickets which will be issued in the middle of March. The cost comes to €50 a head for the match ticket and transport up and down, which is actually excelent value. Unfortunately I have to ask for the cash at the time of booking which is on a first come first served basis.

I haven't cobbled together an itinerary but we'll stop for lunch somewhere on the way up and I plan that we leave fairly promptly after the match. We could stop for a "break" on the return journey too. Depends on what people want. Expect to get back to Galway in the wee hours.

O'Connell's Bar will take the bookings once I get a receipt book at the weekend as will Packie or myself for those that know us. PM me if you have difficulties and we'll sort something out.

With luck we'll get enough to really make our presence felt and Fiona said she'd give some flags, banners and stuff.
