If he's not downing pints of Brown Ale in one go at Newcastle games it seems Mike Assley, we mean Ashley, likes a drop of bubbly. The Newcastle owner allegedly spent £125,000 on the stuff in New York while Dennis Wise was in Newcastle beating up a taxi driver, we mean pushing Kevin Keegan out of the club. Kev was unhappy with the lack of control he had over transfers and despite the club coming up with "a set of practical suggestions for how to move forward", which included Dennis Wise being allowed to ride Keegan like a horse through the halls of St James' Park, Kevin reluctantly quit for the second time.
