While it's easy to remember Leona Lewis as a winner of X-Factor due to the fact she actually has talent, identifying those who won the reality TV show only to disappear onto some Z-list celebrity programme on Bravo is a little more difficult. Possibly in coordination with the beginning of the new live show, inaugural winner Steve Brookstein decided to thank the show for turning him into a star. Ok, replace the word 'thank' with 'complain about' and 'star' with 'not even a Z list celebrity'. "It is sad that there are going to be people who are going to be publicly humiliated. X-Factor is a form of bear-baiting," 2004 contestant said, giving a polite, but very accurate description of the show. Who'll beat the opposition and win this year's X Factor?
