Carnegie World Club Challenge
LEEDS RHINOS v MELBOURNE STORM
Elland Road, Leeds | Friday 29th Februrary

Brian McLennan has once again named an unchanged squad for tommorow's World Club Challenge against the Melbourne Storm, at the home of Leeds United, Elland Road. The 18 man squads are yet to be announced but Bluey told the official site that Ian Kirke is not 100% and therefore will not be playing in the clash against the best Australlian side. But there is also good news from the Rhinos camp - Brent Webb will be included in the 18 even though he picked up an injury in that game last week at Headingley against the Catalan Dragons.
Melbourne have also named their 20, but theirs is missing some key players whilst the Rhinos will most likely play 8 players which played in the 2005 World Club Challenge. The Storm are without Greg Inglis, Michael Crocker and World Player of the Year, Cameron Smith. Arguably the best centre in the World, ex Melbourne player Matt King is now playing for Warrington, another big loss for the Aussies.
Leeds maybe the Super League champions, but Melbourne Storm are the NRL premiers; The Storm beat the Manly Sea Eagles 34-8 last year to claim the title. Don't think Melbourne will be a push-over - they may have only had 1 game to of aclimatised to the British weather, but the Storm really were dominant in last years NRL, only loosing 3 games and drawing 1.
Already over 30 thousand tickets have been sold for tommorows game at Elland Road which makes it look like there won't be as many there as 2005, but don't worry this will be one great game. If you still haven't got your tickets for this game - don't worry, you still have chance! Scroll down to below this article and we have all the details you need to purchase tickets. The RFL only released tickets for the top tier of the East Stand about a week ago, so I wouldn't expect it to be any more than half full.

leedsrhinos.biz Prediction: Leeds Rhinos 22 Melbourne Storm 16
I think this prediction will be almost spot on. I would expect Leeds to have a strong first half performance, keeping Melbourne at bay, but then, in the second, Melbourne will come back at Leeds taking it right to the final hooter - just as we have seen at so many WCC finals in the past.
It's going to be wet and windy tommorow, but it is a big stadium so it shouldn't be too nippy inside, but wrap up warm..just in case!
