This is the first part of a month by month review of the 2007/08 season including a few photo's by Moorsman. September saw Exeter Chiefs open the season with five straight wins, scoring 201 points and conceding just 49, an average of 40 points/match for and only 10/match against.

September 07/08

1st Chiefs v Sedgley Park48 - 111st

The first month of the season saw the Chiefs open up with a free scoring victory over Sedgley Park at Sandy Park and head the table for the only time in 07/08.  Chiefs end the month in 3rd place, their lowest position of the season.

8thAlbion v Chiefs19 - 283rd

The second game was memorable for Danny Gray's drop goals which helped consign Plymouth Albion to a home defeat.

15th Chiefs v Rotherham62 - 103rd

Rotherham Titans arrived at a sunny Sandy Park only to get hammered by a ruthless performance from the Chiefs forwards and backs.

22ndMoseley v Chiefs3 - 362nd

The Chiefs continue the winning ways with an away win at Moseley.

29thChiefs v Bedford27 - 63rd

They end the first month undefeated with a home win against Bedford Blues.
