Chiefs - Review of October 2007

Chiefs
By Moorsman May 16 2008
A brief look at October 2007 with more to follow. The Chiefs fall to their first defeat of the season. This was away at Camborne v Cornish Pirates on a bright and sunny day. London Welsh felt the backlash the following week when the Chiefs beat them by 48 points!
Season Review
October 07

October saw the Chiefs lose for the first time away at Cornish Pirates, a particularly dissapointing result as it was my birthday! However they won the remaining three games and ended the month with 110 points for and 60 against.

7thPirates v Chiefs30 - 233rd

The visit to Camborne proved to be a big dissapointment for the Chiefs with Gareth Steenson punishing lack of discipline with his accurate kicking.  The Chiefs will be looking forward to his continued accuracy now that he has signed for them.

Lewis v Pirates

13thChiefs v London Welsh53 - 52nd

Welsh didn't get much of a look in with the Chiefs showing no mercy at fortess Sandy Park.

20thChiefs v Newbury11 - 63rd

I'm not sure what is is about Newbury but the Chiefs turned in one of their worst performances and were lucky to come away with a win.

27thPertemps Bees v Chiefs19 - 233rd

The Chiefs continued with their winning ways at Bees but were pushed hard in this game.
