I'm not selling Gloucester says club owner
By Cherry Picker September 4 2008
Gloucester owner Tom Walkinshaw has reponded to speculation concerning his ownership of the club by saying it is not for sale. There have been reports recently that the club has made approaches about possible investment by outsiders, and a Cheltenham-based agent says he has been instructed to open takeover talks.

But speaking to BBC Radio Gloucestershire, Walkinshaw has said that a stake in the club is not for sale and insists he has no intention of relinquishing his majority ownership.
He told the Beeb: "I can categorically say Gloucester Rugby is not for sale.
"We haven't had any approaches, direct or indirect, we have no plans to sell and have no intention of giving up majority control.
"We may look at bringing in partners because we want to keep growing so we can compete domestically and internationally.
"We want a larger ground so the fans who want to come can do so and we want to do that as fast as we possibly can.
"We are all of one mind at the club - the players and the support staff. We have finished top of the Premiership in three of the last five seasons, we want to deliver in the play-offs but we really want to win the Heineken Cup."
So the man who has been behind the transformation of Glaws and Kingsholm in the last decade wants to stay, and most fans - and hopefully most people within the club - will surely regard that as good news just days before the start of a new season.

Well he's not going to say he is looking to sell coz that would only drive the price down. Tom W. says it's not for sale then in the next paragraph is stating he would welcome investment! I cant see someone investing in Kingsholm and/or the playing staff without wanting a share of the business.
